Dr. Stewart has been practicing Dermatology in Clinton Township for over thirty years and is a leader in the Michigan dermatology community. He attended college at Wayne State University and completed medical school at the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. After finishing his internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital, he completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at Wayne State University.
Since his training, Dr. Stewart has served as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Wayne State University. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine (Dermatology) at Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Stewart is the Senior Clinical Investigator at the Michigan Center for Cutaneous Research and the Program Director for the St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, Dermatology Residency Training Program.
Today, Dr. Stewart is the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Mt. Clemens General Hospital. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Dermatological Society since 1975. He has appeared on numerous “Top Doctor” lists and is the author of many peer reviewed publications.
Dr. Cukrowski specializes in General Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She graduated with honors from the University of Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended medical school at The University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Upon graduation, she completed a rotating internship at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio and then, a Dermatology Residency at Nova Southeastern University, Sun Coast Hospital’s Department of Dermatology where she was honored to serve as the Chief Resident.
She holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology, Nova Southeastern University and is part of the faculty of the St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital Dermatology training program. She is presently also a Clinical Investigator at the Michigan Center for Skin Care Research. She has won multiple academic awards and published many peer-reviewed journal articles. She was also a member of the University of Michigan, Big-Ten Champion Gymnastics Squad of 1992.
Dr. Veremis-Ley attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland where she served as Academic Chief Resident in her final year. She has won multiple awards throughout her training for academics, service, leadership and research.
Dr. Veremis-Ley practices General Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery and Laser Skin Resurfacing. She has a special interest in Contact Dermatitis and performs pathc testing.
Dr. Ley is currently on staff at Mount Clemens Regional Hospital, St. John's Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Beaumont Hospital - Troy, and St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital - Ann Arbor. She is part of the teaching faculty for St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital Dermatology training program. Dr. Ley is also a Clinical Investigator at Michigan Center for Research Corp.
Dr. Stewart specializes in General Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts. He attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. Upon graduation, he completed a rotating internship at the DMC, Huron-Valley Sinai Hospital, Commerce, MI, and then, a Dermatology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, where he served with distinction.
Dr. Stewart has multiple publications and academic presentations to his credit.
