Michael Kelly-Sell, M.D.
Michael Kelly-Sell, MD, provides specialized services in dermatologic medicine at the Midwest Center for Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery practice in Clinton Township as a fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. Dr. Kelly-Sell is also board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and sees dermatology patients at both the Clinton Township Center and the St. Clair Shores Center.
Dr. Kelly-Sell was raised in Ann Arbor and completed his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2012, prior to returning home to complete a dermatology residency at University of Michigan Hospitals. He then completed a Mohs fellowship under the direction of the renowned Mohs surgeons Drs. Joel Cook and Brian Leach at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Under their direction, he participated in more than 2,000 cases and focused on the use of advanced reconstruction techniques.
Dr. Kelly-Sell has authored multiple scientific articles on dermatology, wrote a textbook chapter on psoriasis, and lectured on nasal reconstruction at a national meeting of the Mohs College. He is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Medical Association.
He loves practicing medicine in Michigan and places a premium on caring for all his patients as if they were family.
