Dr. Altman has been practicing top quality, academically based Dermatology for over 40 years. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor before obtaining a degree in pharmacy at Wayne State University in Detroit. Upon completing his pharmacy degree, he attended the University of Michigan Medical School and undertook a residency in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He had board certification both in Dermatology and in Dermatopathology.
He is the past president of the Michigan Dermatological Society and has served on national committees for the American Academy of Dermatology. He has also served for many years as a Clinical Professor in Dermatology at Wayne State University. Dr. Altman is part of the teaching faculty for the St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital Dermatology training program. He has been selected to numerous “Top Doctors” lists, and has many peer reviewed publications to his credit.
Dr. Gildenberg is an expert in clinical dermatology. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and the Wayne State University School of Medicine. After his internship at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, he completed his residency in Dermatology at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. He is board certified in Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Gildenberg is currently the president of the Michigan Dermatological Society and will serve throughout the 2009-2010 season. He has also served the society as the CLIA committee chairman, where he created the quality assurance program used by most Dermatologists throughout the state. He is a member of the teaching faculty of the St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital Dermatology residency program and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Michigan State University SOM.
Dr. Gildenberg is on staff at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Harper Hospital and St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He has been named to numerous “Best Doctor” lists for many consecutive years and has been listed in Hour Magazine of Detroit's "Top Doctors" issue.
Dr. Gildenberg has practiced in Warren Michigan for the past 19 years.
Dr. Altman is an expert in general Dermatology and dermatologic laser surgery. He pursued undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, and then continued at the University of Michigan for medical school. He completed a year of Internal Medicine training at Northwestern University in Chicago, then finished his residency in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Altman is the chief of the division of Dermatology at St. John’s Macomb hospital in Warren Michigan, and is part of the teaching faculty for the St. Joseph’s Mercy, Ann Arbor, Dermatology residency training program, affiliated.
He is a member of the consulting staff at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Harper Hospital and St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Altman is a past executive board member of the Michigan Dermatological Society having already served as the President of that Society. He is the author of many academic publications and presentations as well as text book chapters . Dr. Altman has been named to numerous “Best Doctor” and “Top Doctor” lists, including the Hour Magazine of Detroit list for many consecutive years.
He has practiced in Warren, Michigan for the past 16 years.
Dr. Ley practices General Dermatology with a special interest in Contact Allergy and patch testing. She attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, and then spent one year studying Podiatric medicine at The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She then obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After an Internship year at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, MI, she completed a Residency in Dermatology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where she selected for the honor of serving as the chief resident.
Dr. Ley is part of the faculty of the St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital Dermatology training program. She has multiple publications and academic presentations to her credit.
